We're joined by Pastor Terrance Reeves-Chong as he lends his perspective to our series "No Room for Compromise" and stirs our faith to embrace who God's called us to be and rise up into who we're meant to be!

The churches in the cities of Thyatira and Laodicea fostered an environment of compromise that Jesus spoke strongly against. Though each church had fallen for different reasons, the message to both is resoundingly clear and redemptive – Come back to Me, and I will fellowship with you! Nestled within His corrections to the people of these ancient churches, Jesus mercy can still be found. He still stands at the door and knocks...ready to fellowship with those who have the courage to open the door and repent.

Jesus words to the people of Philadelphia and Sardis echo throughout the ages as both challenging and inspiring. The call of perseverance to Philadelphia remind us of the necessity of maintaining the faith even when it becomes easy to quit. And Jesus' straightforward prognosis of spiritual deadness in the church of Sardis remind us that revival is possible when we repent and turn our hearts back to Christ. 

Drawing from Revelation 1–2, we explore Christ's message to the church at Ephesus—a church that was strong in doctrine, faithful in ministry, and influential in the world, yet had drifted from what mattered most. Through the remarkable history of Ephesus and Jesus' sobering words, we're reminded that it's possible to be busy doing the work of God while slowly losing our love for God and for people. This message is a powerful call to return to our first love, refocus on the heart of the Gospel, and ask the searching questions: Who do I need to love again? What have I allowed to replace my devotion to Christ?

John the Apostle, nearing the end of his life finds himself in exile on Patmos a small and remote Greek island, having been labeled as a criminal in the eyes of the Roman Empire. Despite his surroundings and his separation from the fellow believers on the mainland of Asia Minor, John finds that he is not alone. In a cave above a small seaside village, John encounters the risen Christ in a vision and records one of the most profound and beautiful narratives in all of Scripture – documenting once and for all, the utter victory and supremacy of The Son of God. This is the Revelation of Jesus Christ. These are His words to His Church in the first century and to us in His Church today... 

What are you carrying that God never intended you to bear? In "Chuck Your Cares," Pastor Joshua explores 1 Peter 5:6–7 and the invitation to cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you. There is freedom today from the crushing weight of worry, as you learn to throw your burdens onto the only One strong enough to carry them. It's time to stop holding on—and start chucking your cares onto Jesus.

What if the thing you struggle with most is not the thing that defines you? Too often, like Gideon from Judges chapter 6, we allow our pain, past, or perceived shortcomings to shape how we see ourselves, but Scripture reminds us that our identity is found in Christ, not our deficiency. If you’ve ever felt disqualified, not enough, or stuck in shame, this message will encourage you to see yourself through God’s eyes and step into the freedom of who He says you are.

In Matthew chapter 16 Jesus states emphatically to His Disciples that He is building an enterprise called The Church. He promises that regardless of the opposition, His Church would prevail and He invites His Disciples to get involved when He pledges to give them the "keys to the Kingdom of Heaven." Today the call and the promise are still the same. God is inviting us to take part in what He is building – His Church, which is in His hands...  

When God calls you forward in life, it often means that He's leading you into something new and unfamiliar. In this message we look at the life of Moses and discover how God met him in profound ways and led him faithfully through many transitions.
